Breezy Lane Culvert Replacement

Heavy stormwater flows created by Hurricane Sally in October 2020 resulted in significant damage to the two 54” CMP culvers under Breezy Lane. To address this worsening condition, the City of Panama City contracted with Panhandle Engineering for the design of a replacement culvert. The project included the removal of the old pipes and replacement with a single 4”x8” concrete box culvert. Construction included the replacement of the affected roadway section and construction of new concrete headwalls.
